This handy hardwire kit allows you to power your dashcam, GPS unit or mobile device directly from the fuse panel of your car – eliminating the mess or cords, plugs and cables! The hardwire kit has a 1.3m long cable and will give you more flexibility to plug in USB or micro USB devices.
All you need to do is hardwire the adapter to the 12V power fuse panel in your vehicle. You will then be able to plug in the device you need to power to the USB cable. A micro USB converter is also included for devices with micro USB ports. The kit converts the 12 volt output on the car’s fuse panel into a 5V charge that is more convenient for today’s technology.
If your vehicle uses blade fuses then wiring can be made easier using the SF-5115 or SF-5125 blade fuse sockets, which patch into the fuse panel.
